Candle Care & Safety Guidelines

Candle Care

Firstly, when you open your Barossa Candle and before each burn, trim the wick no shorter than 5mm to reduce smoking and ensure a clean burning pool.

Be careful not to over trim as this will damage the candle and prevent re-lighting.

When lighting your candle burn until the entire wax surface has melted to the jars edge.

This may take up to 2hrs and is essential in forming a wax memory for even burning and enhanced fragrance throw.

Only burn the candle for a maximum of 4hrs at a time to prevent the jar from overheating.

Safety Guidelines

Before lighting your candle, please ensure it is placed securely on a stable, heat resistant surface

Keep the lit candle away from breezes, flammable items and out of reach from children and pets.

Do not leave the candle unattended whilst lit.

Candle ingredients are sensitive to temperature and light. Store away from sunlight and in a cool, dry place.

Cease burning your candle once the wax pool reaches 10mm from the bottom of the jar.

Our candles are made from natural soy wax and hand poured in small batches. Due to the nature of natural wax, you could notice small blemishes on the candles surface this will not impact on the quality or use of the candle.
